Conversion of disused farm buildings to holiday accommodation, Dorset
New Leaf Ecology carried out an Extended Phase 1 Habitat Survey, follow up Bat Surveys and an Ecological Impact Assessment Survey and Report to accompany a successful planning application for conversion of two disused farm buildings into holiday accommodation.
The project is designed to enable disabled children and their families access to a rural farm experience and encounters with wildlife.
The development will include the creation of new species-rich grassland, new coppice planting, new orchard planting, habitat enhancements for reptiles, hedgehogs, dormice, bats and birds.
