Ecology Surveys For A Rail Improvement Scheme - Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Milton KeynesNew Leaf Ecology carried out Phase 1 habitat surveys, botanical surveys, habitat condition assessments, hedgerow surveys and badger surveys for a large rail improvement scheme.
Data was collected digitally using iPads in the field to maximise efficiency in data management for this large and complex project. Collecting the data digitally minimised time spent on data collation back in the office, resulting in substantial cost savings for the client. Data collected was fed into ecological impact assessments and mitigation design. New Leaf Ecology collaborated with Ecohab Consultancy to undertake the surveys and data collection, with the work carried out on behalf of WSP. |
